Our school focuses on Play Based Curriculum!  Offering play based curriculum gives us the opportunity to serve  a wide range of age groups and allows the teachers to cater each activity to each child specifically depending on their interests and abilities and most importantly, their developmental stage.

Play based curriculum helps foster creativity and imagination: Play and dramatic play  encourages children to explore , experiment, and think creatively. These skills are crucial for problem solving as children are given the chance to reenact real life experiences like those they see outside of the classroom.

Play based curriculum  supports social development: Through play, children learn cooperation, communication, sharing and conflict resolution skills which are all essential social skills.

Play based curriculum encourages active learning. Children learn best by doing things either on their own or with the guidance and support from an adult or friend. Children can explore concepts like letters, numbers, science and language through hands-on experiences they are offered in the classroom.

Offering a play based program gives children a safe space to express their feelings, problem solve and build self confidence through real-life experiences.

There are many opportunities that are offered when a program is set up this way, giving the children endless possibilities to learn, explore and thrive~
